About the Hospital

Waterbury Hospital is a 357-bed full-service facility and teaching hospital, providing advanced care and cutting-edge medical services to the greater Waterbury community.

As an integral part of the community, Waterbury Hospital is home to bustling residency programs in Surgery and Internal Medicine through Yale University, ensuring that the hospital remains at the forefront of medical education and patient care. The hospital’s network extends across numerous outpatient offices, offering primary care and a wide range of subspecialty services, including Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes.

Bone Health Clinics are held at the Endocrinology office, providing specialized care and support for patients with osteoporosis and other bone health concerns. Through these clinics, Waterbury Hospital is committed to preventing fractures, promoting better bone health, and improving the quality of life for its patients.

We are establishing patient-centered, academically-driven Bone Health clinics guided by the latest scientific evidence. Our goal is to become an integral part of the broader Own the Bone team.
