- Define “Opportunistic CT” and describe how routine clinical CT scans can be repurposed to evaluate bone quality.
- Understand how to use a hospital PACS to draw a region of interest and measure CT HUs.
- Define bone compression testing (BCT) and its application in opportunistic bone strength assessment and be able to comment on how it differs from traditional BMD measurement.
- Describe how to use Opportunistic CT and BCT in clinical decision-making.
